Smut Marathon Round 1 Voting Begins

The Smut Marathon has just closed the entries on Round 1. Today marks the beginning of the voting round, which means it’s your time to participate. As the news has been made public, I can now reveal a couple things about the challenge of this round. The assignment for round 1 was as follows:

Write an erotic metaphor.

Specific requirements:
– only one sentence
– give your word a one-word title
– your metaphor is a maximum of 30 words (excluding title)

Of course, to keep the contest fair for every entrant, each submission is anonymous to all except the director of the Smut Marathon. Naturally, I’m not allowed to tell you which entry is mine, and all entries have been randomized, so there’s no order to help you try and figure out whose is whose. But somewhere, in the list of 75 total entries, my modest entry sits, hoping you’ll vote for it.

So, as I mentioned, it’s your time to shine, readers. Half the score in this competition comes from readers like you, who will be able to vote on your favorite three. But before you go to vote, please keep these things in mind:

  • Read all entries before making your choices.
  • Each entry is numbered so it would help to write down the numbers of those you like most.
  • You can also leave feedback on the entries pertaining to what you liked, and what the writer can do to improve their writing.

Voting for Round 1 can be done here.

I hope you’ll take the time to make your mark on this competition. Your input will be very valuable in determining a winner. But if you should miss out on this voting round, there will be more to come throughout the year. As soon as the voting round is over, I’ll be able to reveal my entry to you.

I look forward to reading your feedback!
