Well, here it is, my first toy review! I’ll be honest, I never thought I’d get this kind of opportunity. I don’t promise a great review, but I’ve received some great advice from a lot of friends and associates who do, and I hope their advice will be what keeps you reading until the end.
This review began when a representative from Paloqueth contacted me through my site. They asked if I would be interested in testing one of their products for an honest review. I know some of the bigger toy companies out there, and some of the smaller ones, but I hadn’t heard of Paloqueth until that day. Doing some research, I found that their site’s blog goes back only as far as January of 2018, but other records show the company has existed for as long as 2013.
Their range of sleeves is fairly-sized, and there are several good-looking products to choose from. After applying to be a tester, I received a response from a representative the next day, asking for which product I would like to try. Originally, I requested the Rotating Masturbator Cup, and they originally agreed to send me that one. However, after giving them my shipping info, I received a reply stating that, because I live in Canada, the Rotating Cup wasn’t available, and asked if I would be ok with this product instead. I was a bit disappointed but agreed.
The Paloqueth Male Masturbator Cup was shipped in a very sleek-looking black box that non-descript and only had the company’s name on the top, so points for discreet shipping!
Opening it up, the contents contained the sleeve itself within a hard, black, ABS plastic, casing. Along with it is a simple bullet vibrator, extra batteries for the same, and Paloqueth brand water-based lubricant. The masturbator cup has an easy to open lid. The sleeve inside is made with TPR and is removable for cleaning. The sleeve itself is pale skin-colored, with a small amount of red dye around its opening for aesthetic effect.
The opposite end of the plastic casing has a screw hole where a suction cup mount can be attached. I found this a bit odd as the masturbation cup doesn’t come with the mount included, nor is it sold separately on the Paloqueth website. I shot an email back to the representative who sent the product to me, and she explained that it normally doesn’t come with the mount included, but I did bring up a good point regarding it not being sold separately. She said she would send the suggestion to the product department for consideration. So who knows, maybe you’ll see it in the accessories section soon.
As for functionality, I wasn’t even sure if I could, at first. The Male Masturbator cup has a very small opening (my thumbnail for comparison) which had me worried about whether or not I would even fit into it. The thing is, and I’m really trying not to make this sound like a brag, but I have a fairly big penis. Not huge, but it is considered ‘above average’. But I figured I should at least try. So I got comfortable, chrome-casted a video to my bedroom television, and with enough lube, managed to fit myself into it. I was honestly surprised by how soft and pliable the TPR material was wrapped around me. It was a different sensation, feeling something this tight stroking me. There was a constant worry that if I were to let it go, it would launch away like a rubber band. But after a few minutes, I did orgasm. I’ve used it several more times since then, and after a week, it still brings me to orgasm, but I can’t say it was particularly exciting each time.
The interior of the sleeve is ribbed and bumpy for added pleasure, but while I enjoyed the sensation, I found it a bit hard to detect, at times. If I had to guess, and I’m still not trying to brag, but I would guess that small opening going around a penis as girthy as mine would stretch the soft TPR to the point of causing the bumps and ribs to flatten a bit, making them less pronounced. Not a bad trait, as the soft texture is certainly enjoyable. But there are always drawbacks.
On the exterior of the sleeve, there’s a small opening for inserting the bullet vibrator included with the Masturbator cup. To do so, one must first remove the sleeve, turn on the vibrator, insert it entirely into the opening, then re-insert the sleeve into the plastic casing. A bit tedious, especially as you need to pull the sleeve out again if you want to turn it on or off. The plastic casing also comes with pressure grips that you can squeeze to add more tightness to your sleeve as you stroke yourself, which I did appreciate as well.
I should note that, while this product does come with a small tube of Paloqueth brand lubricant, I didn’t use it the first time. I have another water-based lube I enjoy a lot called “Water Slide”. It’s a small brand, but it works well and leaves little to no residue, so I’ve come to rely on it more. I did test out the Paloqueth brand lubricant as well, and while it’s of similarly good quality, it did leave some residue that needed to be cleaned off after use.
The Paloqueth Male Masturbator Cup is marked at $27.69 USD, but is currently on sale at the discounted price of $19.99 USD, making it one of the most affordable sleeves on the market. Overall, I would say you get what you pay for with this product. While it may not have the mind-blowing qualities the more pricey sleeves may offer, it will work well enough to get you where you want to go, and the different functions provide some decent enjoyment along the way! The Paloqueth Male Masturbator Cup is available for purchase on their website, or you can find it at their Amazon store page.
