I became inspired to write this post based on a new-ish prompt challenge hosted by a blogger acquaintance and fellow erotica blogger, Brigit Delaney, which challenges us to explore new types of content to write about. Which is good for me, as I was fresh out of ideas lately. The challenge this week is to write something about our most/least favorite sexual positions. I thought I would take this a step further to talk about the positions that work well for Primals in the process.
Standing in front of the tall figure leering over her, the feeling of helplessness was already beginning to set in. For today’s game, she decided on a simple white and brown dress to accompany the red cloak that draped over it. Whereas the man before her was bare-chested, donning only a pair of running shorts and a specially-made wolf mask. His face was only visible from within the maw.
“Do you understand the rules, Red?” he asked her, arms crossed over his chest.
She could barely bring her head to meet his gaze when she replied, “Yes, Sir.”
Two years ago, I first learned about Primal Play, wrote about it, and admitted that I may be Primal. I often write these blog posts as something to be used to aid others in their writing, or in learning about alternative sexual lifestyles. So it’s not often that I write something a bit more personal to me. While I may have made it sound like I just instantly converted, the path to becoming primal was really a complicated transition.
A little over a year ago, I came across something completely new to me when I made an account on Fetlife. As I created my account, one of the questions they asked for was my BDSM role. I was going to select ‘Master’ as I always had, but found a few different options further down the dropdown list. Each of them was listed as ‘Primal’, ‘Primal Dom’, and ‘Primal sub’. In my curiosity, I went on to find out just what a Primal is, which led to the discovery that I am a Primal and prompted me to write an article all about what I found, and what makes someone a Primal.
